The Parsons School of Design started in the year 1896. Since then the school keeps offering its students an education based on innovative approaches. In fact, today the Parson School of Design is the only American art school functioning within The New School, a comprehensive university that also houses a progressive performing arts school and a liberal arts college.

The Paris School
Parsons Paris offers an atelier-like setting where students can explore a host of art and design partners in Europe, heritage brands, and traditions, as well as new technologies. This school is transformed into a launch pad for creative education and career through these complementarily learning communities.
Parsons’ integrative projects, seminars, and studios familiarize students with techniques and tools from all the fields of the creative spectrum and allow them to explore in other degree programs.
